I am trying to set up my Yahoo! mail account to retrieve my email from my university email account. The university server will only accept requests from client software through a secure connection. Is there any way that I can get Yahoo! mail to access the server through a secure connection?

i doubt that you will accomplish this with yahoo
and the university account, you can try running it threw outlook express this may work
