How do I attach images from a server (weblink) into the body of my email?

I am trying to insert an image from my website into the body of my email. I have dragged the URL onto my desktop and linked it, but the image does not appear when the email is sent. I only get a red "x" where the image is supposed to be.

Please help me!

How do I attach images from a server (weblink) into the body of my email?
try putting this in your email message

%26lt;img src="http://www.mywebsite.com/image.jpg"...

This will only work if you are sending the message in HTML format. Some email programs will also make the person click on a 'view image' option to see this. Another option is to right click on the image on the site, save to desktop, and add as an attachment. Most email programs will show the image within the viewing plain when the receipient gets the message.
Reply:try this: right click on the image, copy, go yo the body of your email, paste.

See if that works
Reply:I believe you have to compress it, put into zipper, Images take up more space than documents. I think color has a big bearing on that. ( picsil ).
