How to setup up my own Linux email server?

Usually Linux distributions will come with sendmail which does the bare minimum actions of an email server.





If you want a full-fledged mail server though, and are not completelly comfortable with the environment, you can try this out:

It basically installs a very good email server (Qmail) and all the bells and whistles onto it to make it easy to manage. There are even install scripts to make everything install cleanly.
