When using Yahoo email what is my incoming mail server and Outgoing email sever name?

For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus (@ $19.99 per year).to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others.

* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 995


* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication.





If you have “yahoo.co.uk” address some users can get free pop forwarding see below.


Click “options” (top right) on your mail page%26gt;mail options%26gt;pop and forwarding%26gt;


Set up or edit pop %26amp; forwarding%26gt;type in the address you want to forward to and


click save.


* Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk


Use SSL, port: 995


* Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk


Use SSL, port: 465.


Note: In order to be able to send emails from outlook and others through/to yahoo (pop3) you need to pay for a yahoo mail plus account. @ £11.99 per year.

click on outlook, then tools, then accounts, then your mail, then properties, then server and type cwmx.com in server, click apply then click advance in the smtp box type 25 and in the pop box type 110 click Ok and close then you send email from your desktop or other sourrces through outlook and recieve them through your yahoo or rocketmail. It might help if you change your pop3 to 127.0.0.1 also.

A Yahoo Plus account is not required for get POP3 access to your free Yahoo mail account. Here are the directions for getting free POP3 access to a Yahoo mail account.
