A simple solution is to just copy and paste it to Word, Notepad, etc.
Is their a way to save my email on my hard drive rather than on my email server?
if its a free email account they may have a save to file command with their email software. yahoo has a link at the very bottom of the email screen when you view an email that can save the email to a text file.
you can do a copy and past of the emails or when you view the email, go the file menu of the browser and chose save as and the entire screen you see will save to file.
if you pay for the email you can use software like outlook, which comes with windows and set it up to receive your POP3 email, the email provider will have instructions on how.
One you set up outlook or another email software desktop program then they all come will save to disk commnads.
Reply:yes, by saving it to microsoft outlook, notebook, wordpad, or microsoft word
Reply:just go to top of browser click on FILE click on SAVE AS then pick a folder to put it in.
