Why did my email notification for pop server email account on the system tray stop working?
I wish I knew the answer - I'm having the same problem as of this morning (9/20/07). I've currently spent nearly an hour between online chat with AT%26amp;T/Yahoo and their telephone support. Took 40 minutes to get to 2nd level. I'm on hold still.
I'll come back here if I hear anything good, but so far, it seems I'm on a wild goose chase getting help.

I'm back. AT%26amp;T was a waste of time. But they did show me how to get through to Yahoo help (which I couldn't previously do because it kept redirecting me into AT%26amp;T's system).
After over an hour on chat with Larry from Yahoo, I deleted oen account and recreated it, and that worked!
However, all the other accounts (I have four external accounts) got changed to show the same pop3 server as the first one. It's completely screwed up right now, and I'm not in the mood to spend another 2 hours trying to report their problems. Maybe tomorrow.
If you only have one account, delete it and re-add it and it should work. Good luck.
