I had to find this information too for setting up Mozilla Thunderbird %26amp; MS Outlook Express as my computer's email clients. I suspect you are doing the same in which case, you probably will want to set up newsgroups (public email bulletin boards) as well. To do that, you need your NNTP, which is usually the name of your ISP followed by "news", so in my case it is "shawnews".

As far as i know you can get your Yahoo mail on POP3 only as a paying costumer. it use to be for free but this option is Extra in the last few years.

Outlook deleted my email from the Yahoo server. How do I get it back onto Yahoo!?
I set up Outlook to retrieve my Yahoo mail from the POP3 server so I could have a saved copy of all my emails on my PC. I didn't realize that the default Outlook setting deletes all emails from the source server. How do I get them back to the Yahoo server so I can access my email again? Specifically, is there any way to preserve the original dates and headers?

The only way to save original dates/headers is to save each individual message in OE (save it to your desktop, or somewhere easy to access), then attach them all to a message (or a few messages, if need be) and send it to your Yahoo account. You'd have to play around with it in Yahoo to see if you could save the attachments in your Yahoo inbox as regular messages (I doubt it, but doesn't hurt to try).

There should be a link to a help page on your email page. If you can't find the info there, there should be a section for you to submit questions about your email accounts.
